Welcome to Trophy Club
The first master-planned community in Texas
Set apart from the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, Trophy Club is a beautiful, well-maintained community. The origins of Trophy Club date back to 1847 when Charles and Matilda Medlin, along with twenty other families, arrived by wagon trail to settle along Elizabeth Creek. The arrival of the Texas Pacific Railroad in 1881 prompted further growth.
Over the years, Trophy Club has steadily evolved from a small, rural getaway for Dallas executives and retirees into a premier North Texas residential community. The golf club and housing developments were built in the 1970s, officially becoming the first master-planned community in Texas. Trophy Club comprises over 1,000 acres of parks, 36 holes of golf in wind through neighborhoods, and an efficient local government.
